Registrations are now open for the HHF Effective Teacher Training Certificate Course (Part One) in collaboration with the Faculty of Education at York University.
This course will be available fully online and in a virtual blended format for the benefit of all Greek language instructors in Communities across Canada.

The course will run on Tuesdays from October 17th to December 19th, 2023. It will cover a number of effective teaching techniques and strategies designed to increase student involvement and engagement in the classroom.
Deadline to register for this course is Monday, October 16th, 2023 and registrations will be limited to the first 25 instructors so please register as soon as possible and share with any Greek language instructor who may be interested in taking it. Given the timing, please share with your community and networks as soon as possible.
Once again, the course is FREE to take and all tuition fees will be covered by the Hellenic Heritage Foundation. All instructors who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Faculty of Education at York University.
Note: The Hellenic Heritage Foundation will also be offering an Effective Teacher Training Certificate Course PART 2, free of charge, to all instructors who have successfully completed Part 1 in the Spring of 2024 as well. This course will cover more advanced techniques and strategies instructors will be able to carry forward to their classrooms.
To date, over 240 Greek Language Instructors across Canada have taken this course with the overwhelming majority of participants finding it very useful and being very satisfied with the course instruction.
