Συγκινητική πρωτοβουλία της νεολαίας του Ι.Ν. Αγίας Ειρήνης, της Ελληνικής Κοινότητας Τορόντο. Έστειλαν γράμματα στα ελληνικά προς τους ηλικιωμένους που μένουν στο Ελληνικό Σπίτι (Γηροκομείο) για να τους εμψυχώσουν και να απαλύνουν τη μοναξιά που τους έχει προκαλέσει η πανδημία.
Congratulations to the Neo Youth Group of St. Irene’s Greek Orthodox church in Toronto. This group works hard to create positive change in the community. There are several yearly activities that they do as a class. However, due to the pandemic they have turned to online means. Their goal is to help those in need during this difficult time by any possible way. Most recently, they decided to turn to the Hellenic Home for the Aged. They decided to write letters in Greek to the elderly to make them feel more connected with the Greek community, as well as support them during this time. Respect and admiration for this great new generation of Greek-Canadians.
