Dear students and parents/guardians,

We hope that our message finds you healthy, safe and ready for the reopening of Greek schools. As you know, learning different languages and being immersed in a variety of cultures can transform and improve the quality of your life. At the GCT Department of Education (Paideia) we are committed to providing enriched Greek language learning opportunities for everyone. During this pandemic, we have worked tirelessly to put in place all the necessary health and safety practices that will ensure a safe return to Greek school. Moreover, we have developed an online platform that is built around our very effective Paideia curriculum.

This year we will provide School-based and 100% Remote Learning programs for all Grades. With a high sense of responsibility, we would like to inform you that we are ready to safely return to school. We are kindly requesting for your cooperation in actively practicing general health and safety practices, as outlined by Toronto Public Health. Your safety and well-being are our top priority!

Please see the document below, which outlines our programs and provides a summary of safety processes that we will be implementing in our schools. Please note that registrations are exclusively online, and that certain programs have to temporarily relocate due to the fact that the TDSB has put on hold all permit requests due to COVID. Thank you very much for supporting our Greek Language and Heritage programs, and for your cooperation during these unprecedented times. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Visit our website www.greekcommunity.org to register online

Schools start on September 25, 2020.

This school year we are celebrating 200 years after the revolution:
