The Greek language program in 2023-2024 is offered in-person.
For more than three decades the Hellenic Canadian Community of York Region (HCCY) has been dedicating itself to building up our youth toward higher academic achievement and community excellence through the creation and running of a school the York Hellenic Educational Society (also known as Hellenic Academy of York or “HAY”. The HAY accepts children ranging in ages from pre-school (3-year olds /toilet trained) to Grade 8 (14 year olds). These children are taught the Greek language, history, culture, dancing and music and always within the context of Canada. The school operates Saturdays from 9:30am – 12:30pm starting October 17.
