Glen Briar Academy (GBA) is a private K-8 school, founded on the belief that innovation, not just tradition, is what fuels growth and development in education.
GBA’s Greek Language Program aims to foster and develop a love of the Greek language and culture, as well as an understanding of the way it fits into our lives as Canadian citizens. Created by experienced and fluent speaking Greek educators, our curriculum focuses on language acquisition, communication, and proficiency. Our students participate in and successfully pass the “Ellinomatheia” Proficiency Test. In addition, our program balances cultural and historical elements, providing our students with a wider understanding of what it means to belong to the Greek community in our city.
