International language classes (other than English and French) are offered outside of regular school hours to all YCDSB students as well as students from other school boards provided space is available. The program is funded by the Ministry of Education and is open to students currently attending school in grades JK to 8 who wish to preserve their language, cultural heritage and traditions. It is also available to students who wish to study the language and heritage of another culture. A minimum of 15 students is required to start a class with this program.
Fall/Winter Saturday Program – Sept-June
The Saturday International Languages program (other than English and French) is offered during the school year (September to June) to students currently in grades JK-8 as of September.
