The Canadian Institute in Greece invites you to the 2026 Paris Arnopoulos Annual Lecture, to be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 19:00.
This year’s lecture, entitled “Ancient and Modern Approaches to Tyranny”, explores how Classical Greek thought can contribute to the analysis of contemporary sociopolitical phenomena. The event will examine key issues related to governance, democracy, and tyranny, reflecting on the relevance of ancient Greek ideas in understanding modern political realities.
