Join us and our cohost-the Greek Consulate of Montreal-on Zoom (link to be posted soon) for a night filled with amazing speakers and trivia rounds about the Greek language! The event will be divided into two sections:
The first will include a couple of distinguished speakers who will honour us with their presence and give some remarks about the 200th anniversary of the Greek Independence and about the Greek language. Next will be the trivia and your chance to win some amazing gift cards to some amazing places, so don’t miss out!!! (Hint: bon apetit!) The ultimate winner will also receive the grand prize of an Etymological Dictionary of Greek (2 volumes)! Questions will take various forms (general knowledge about Greece, origin of English words, multiple choice, synthesizing of English words according to their Greek word, spelling, and Greek Idioms).
