3ο Διεθνές Συνέδριο για την Ελληνική Διασπορά
The 3rd International Conference on the Hellenic Diaspora is the continuation of an interdisciplinary collaboration initiative between Charles Darwin University, the University of the Aegean in Greece, and University of Macedonia in Greece. The Conference aims to strengthen educational collaboration, networks and promote new teaching/learning modes and Greek language education. Topics cover Greek language and literature, identity and cultural education, migration from interdisciplinary perspectives, the history of Greek Diaspora in Australia and Hellenic and Indigenous Australian experiences and perspectives.

Program Highlights: Keynote speeches by Professor Michael Damanakis and Professor George Kanarakis, Welcome event, with entertainment by the OPA School of Hellenic Dance, Official Opening: Messages by Vice Chancellors & Keynote speeches by His Eminence, Archbishop Makarios of Australia, and Eileen Cummings.
