| THI Canada is committed to supporting Greek graduate students in advancing their studies through the THI Canada Scholarship program. If you are a Greek student in Greece aiming to pursue graduate studies in Canada, we invite you to apply for The Hellenic Initiative Canada Scholarship Program for the 2024-2025 academic year. Key Program Details: Application Deadline: March 15, 2024. Scholarship Awards: $10,000 CAD covering tuition, accommodation, and living expenses, with an opportunity for complementary funding from Bodossaki Foundation. Start Date: September 2024 Canada is a great place to study, offering consistently high-quality education across the country. The Hellenic Initiative Canada Scholarship Program will provide financial support for students to study at the Master’s level at any accredited university in Canada. The program will also provide opportunities for students to develop skills, connections and experience that will allow them to lead successful careers and contribute to the future growth and prosperity of Greece. The scholarships will be awarded to outstanding graduate students with a passion for their field of study. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need, and in areas of study that are in demand in the workforce in Greece, in areas of leading-edge technologies, or in specialized fields that address current and future needs. In efforts to reverse the brain drain, THI Canada will work with partners in Greece and Canada to identify possible training and work experience for students returning to Greece to pursue careers. |
| Applicants must: Be Greek nationals residing in Greece. Meet Canadian entry/visa requirements. Have an acceptance into a Canadian graduate (Master’s) program. Exhibit financial need and intent to return to Greece post-studies.
